Redundancy removing method for multiplecopy routing based on mobile sink

Abstract:

Using multiple copies method of epidemic routing we propose a redundancy removing method for message copies based on the threshold of  encounter number of mobile Sink nodes each other. The method not only guarantees the successful transfer of message but also effectively decreases copies in the network to reduce the consumption of resource, buffer, bandwidth and energy caused by large amount of copies. Theoretical analysis and simulation experiment show that the delivery efficiency stays the same, the delay and hop count do not increase with the appropriate threshold.
