Calibration test method of high-precision accelerometer in gravitational field

Abstract:

A method of calibrating the dual orthogonal accelerometers(DOA) on a twoaxis turning table was proposed to calibrate the highprecision accelerometer. A squareofg observation model was built for the DOA and the correlation of the DOA model coefficients was analyzed. Based on the D-optimal experiment design, according to the special form of the model equation in the multi-position test of the accelerometers, an analytical solution of the experiment design was derived using the information matrix of equation. The simulation and experiment demonstrated that the standard deviation of the DOA method is less than, and its identification accuracy is better than that of the single accelerometer. So, the DOA method can enhance the calibration accuracy of the high-precision accelerometer.
