Multiple access capability for spread coding based transform domain communication system

Abstract: The random phase coding method of Transform Domain Communication System (TDCS) is studied. To improve the multiple access capability, a new Spread Phase Coding TDCS (SPC-TDCS) scheme is proposed. The framework of the SPC-TDCS is given. The selection of the spread sequence and the cross correlation of the spread basic function are studied, the system performances of the proposed SPC-TDCS are analyzed. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed scheme has good system performance in a multiple access environment and guarantees the minimum interference among different users at the same time.
