Way to manage multiple types of communication in vehicle simulation system

Abstract:

As there are usually multiple hardware devices and multiple types of communication in hardware-based vehicle simulation systems,the management of the communication plays an important role.A new way to effectively manage different types of communication in hardware-based driving simulation system was proposed.By translating data streams of each device to messages of common format,the differences between types of devices and interfaces was concealed from upper layer of the program and it became possible for different types of devices and interfaces to be treated in an identical way.The proposed way of communication management has made the design work,the maintenance and extension of a simulation system easy.
