The application of the sampling techniques in the DSP-based video object extraction

Abstract:

The video object extraction algorithm that is based on the multi-frame difference and HOS (High-Order Statistic),can be implemented through DSP(Digital Signal Processor).However,due to the large amount of the video image data,the real time of the DSP is not satisfactory.In order to improve the speed of the DSP,a sampling algorithm was presented.It took full use of the flexibility and effectiveness of the sampling algorithm.By running on the Blackfin-533 DSP,the feasibility and effectiveness of the algorithm is proved.
