Implementation on mocap system based on Kinect

Abstract:

Based on the purpose of achieving the optimal balance point on the development costs of game action and facial expression capture system,operating results and the development efficiency by using the Kinect motion-sensory camera,3DSMAX and the open source OGRE graphics rendering engine were adopted to design and implement based on the game action and facial expressions capture system by combining Kinect motion-sensory camera,3DSMAX and OGRE.The system hardware is simple,cheap,and has the characteristics of low hardware requirements,high accuracy,intuitive real-time preview and alone operation.It can be widely used in the field of animation,film production and virtual reality.
