Design of the multimedia terminal circuit and analysis of the signal integrity

Abstract:

A multimedia terminal circuit based on DSP and FPGA was designed.The circuit function consisted of two channels of composite video input,one channel of selectable output of VGA and composite video,ethernet communication and stereo input and output.According to the SI theory and project requirement,rational layout and lining were made.The SI analysis including reflection and crosstalk was done with the high speed signal.The topological structure was adjusted and the circuit was optimized by using series resistor and modifying the layout.From experiments,the circuit has fully functions and reliable performance,and achieves the expected design requirements.
