Research on Energy Hydraulic Transmission System of Wind Turbine

Abstract: The technology of energy hydraulic transmission system is analyzed in this paper by illustrating off-grid wind turbine and on-grid wind turbine. A method to realize wind turbine impeller maximum power capture and generator best working speed through the electro-hydraulic control technology by regulating the displacement of pump or motor was put forward. By modeling off-grid wind turbine using the software of Simulink/AMESim, simulation results can be showed that when wind speed fluctuates below the rated value, the displacement of pump is adjusted for maintaining the rotor speed at the optimal tip speed ratio and the rotor maximum power capture can be ensured; meanwhile the generator speed can be stabilized around rated value by adjusting the displacement of motor.
