Decision making model and technical corrective measures of pedestrian's bad crossing behavior in urban road section

Abstract:

In order to alleviate the contradiction between motor vehicles and pedestrians, the connotation of bad pedestrian crossing behavior was proposed, and the correlation between pedestrian crossing behavior and pedestrians' psychological expectation was analyzed based on the cost-benefit theory. Spearman correlation coefficient and VIF were used to pre-screen the key factors, and then binary logistic regression model was used to construct the decision-making model of street crossing behavior in three scenarios to screen out the key factors that can be changed, and the corresponding technical correction measures were proposed. In order to verify its effect, the number of bad pedestrian crossing behavior before and after partial correction was compared, indicating that colored zebra crossing and other measures can reduce the probability of bad pedestrian crossing behavior, and the correction measures can improve the pedestrian crossing behavior.
