Structure and Magnetic Properties of BiY2Fe5O12Nanoparticles Doped with Gd3+ Ions

摘要: 采用溶胶凝胶法制备了GdxBiY2-xFe5O12(x=0,0.1,0.2,0.4,0.6,0.8)纳米晶粉体系列样品. 利用DTA,TGA,XRD,TEM,IR和VSM等方法对材料的制备过程和产物进行分析. 结果表明, Gd的掺入并未改BiY2Fe5O12的石榴石结构. 讨论了Gd离子掺入BiYIG铁氧体的粒 径、 形貌及磁性规律.

Abstract: GdxBiY2xFeO12(x=0,0.1,0.2,0.4,0.6,0.8) nanocrystals were synthesized viathe solgel method. Samples were characterized by means of powder Xray diffraction (XRD), thermal gravity analysis (TGA) and differential thermal analysis  (DTA), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). The average sizes of the particles were determined by virtue of Scherrer’s formula and were in a rang e of 43~50 nm. The effect of Gd3+ substitution for Y3+ on magnetic properties of BiY2Fe5O12 was investigated. 
