摘要: 为了更好的利用图像的局部方向性, 采用方向小波变换和贪婪算法寻找次最优多树分片, 并利用易于实现的经验RD公式作为贪婪寻优准则. 实验结果表明, 与一些流行的编码方法相比, 所给的算法具有较好的编码增益和视觉质量.

Abstract: A new image coding method was proposed. In order to suffciently take advantage of local directionality of natural images, we adopted directional wavelet transform and greedy algorithm for suboptimal multitree tiling. Meanwhile we utilized empirical RD formula as the greedy criterion. The results indicate that our method performs better in coding gain and visual quality.
