计算开洞穴电磁散射问题的一种优化PML方法

摘要: 通过选取一类特殊的吸收函数, 即在有界区域中其积分发散的函数, 给出TM极化和TE极化情形下的洞穴电磁散射优化PML算法. 通过在洞穴开口上方构造矩形PML层, 把无界的散射区域截断为有界的计算域. 优化的PML方法对PML层的厚度要求较低, 并且在洞穴开口较大时, 用矩形替代半圆可减少离散化问题的规模, 从而降低计算量, 提高计算速度. 数值计算结果表明, 优化的PML方法在开洞穴计算问题上有效且准确.

Abstract: We developed an optimal perfectly matched layer method for scattering from cavity under both TM and TE polarizations by choosing a particular absorbing function with unbounded integral. The unbounded computational domain is truncated to a bounded one by using a rectangular perfectly matched layer at the open aperture. The thickness of PML is not very large in this method. Especially when the cavity opening is very large, the amount of calculations is saved and the operation sp eed is improved by usingrectangular perfectly matched layer instead of semicircle.Numerical experiments demonstrate that the optimal PML method is efficientand accurate to solve cavity scattering problems.
