组合结构一维函数光子晶体界面态的可调性

Tunability of Interfacial States of One-Dimensional Functional Photonic Crystals with Composite Structures

摘要: 研究具有反转对称组合结构的光子晶体界面态特性, 其中构成晶体的介质采用函数型介质, 其折射率为空间位置的函数. 结果表明: 当介质折射率为常数时, 由两种不同组合结构(PC1+PC2和PC1+PC2+PC1)构成的光子晶体呈不同界面态特性, 由PC1+PC2构成的组合结构仅产生1个界面态, 由PC1+PC2+PC1构成的组合结构最多可产生2个界面态; 当介质折射率为空间位置函数时, 由PC1+PC2构成的组合结构光子晶体可实现对单个界面态与多个界面态的调控; 随着函数介质折射率2个端点值nb(0)和nb(b)的增大, 单个界面态发生明显红移, 其峰值强度显著衰减, 多个界面态的位置和数量保持不变, 其峰值强度显著增强.

Abstract: We studied the characteristics of interface states of photonic crystals with inverted symmetric composite structures, where the
 media composing the crystals were functional media with refractive index that was a function of spatial position. The results show that when the refractive index of the medium is a constant, photonic crystals composed of two different composite structures (PC1+PC2 and PC1+PC2+PC1) exhibit different interface state characteristics. The composite structure composed of PC1+PC2 can only generate one interface state, while the composite structure composed of PC1+PC2+PC1 can generate at most two interface states. When the refractive index of the medium is a function of spatial position, the photonic crystal with the composite structure composed of PC1+PC2 can realize the regulation of a single interface state and multiple interface states. As the two endpoint values nb(0) and nb(b) of the refractive index of the functional medium increase, the single interface state undergoes an obvious red shift, and its peak intensity is significantly attenuated. The position and number of multiple interface states remain unchanged, while the peak intensity is significantly enhanced.
