一种新的无线Mesh网络拥塞控制机制

A New Congestion Mechanism in Wireless Mesh Network

摘要:

针对无线Mesh网络的拥塞问题, 提出一种新的链路自适应速率控制机制LLAP(Link Layer Adaptive Pacing), 通过网关的链路层队列调度机制进行包的调度和MAC通告, 利用Mesh网关控制从有线到无线数据流的发送速率, 避免了过多数据传输产生跳路间的严重干扰. 控制机制在链路层完成, 不需要修改现有的传输或路由协议. 利用网络仿真软件NS2对LLAP控制下的Mesh网络性能进行了分析和测试, 仿真实验结果表明, LLAP控制下的网络性能得到了明显改善.

Abstract:

This essay deals with a new selfadjusted speed rate control system LLAP(link layer adaptive pacing) in view of the  congestion problem in wireless Mesh network. The link layer queue scheduling mechanism at the gateway is responsible for packet scheduling and MAC circular. LLAP controls the transmission rate of wiredtowireless flows at the Mesh gateway to avoid serious interference among hops brought by excessive data transmission, and the control mechanism is realized at link layer without modifying  the existing transport and  routing protocols. We analyzed the performance of the Mesh network by NS2, and compared LLAP with  802.11 networks. Simulation results show that the network performance controlled by LLAP is superior to  802.11 networks greatly.
