Abstract: At first, this paper introduces the concept, key technique and steps of distributed data mining (DDM), then introduces the relative res earches of algorithm and architecture for the distributed data mining according to the status quo. At last, it makes a conclusion about the development of the distributed data mining. Research direction and development trend of the distributed data mining are discussed.
