基于多重网格的大长径比颗粒仿真计算

Simulation Calculation of Particle with Large Ratio of Length to Diameter Based on Multigrid

摘要: 针对大长径比颗粒(即长径比差异较大颗粒), 采用单重网格法进行邻居搜索时存在因网格尺寸较大, 导致接触计算复杂度较大的问题, 提出一种基于多重网格的新方法. 该方法先将大长径比颗粒(如长秸秆颗粒)虚拟离散为长径比较小的颗粒, 再将离散后的颗粒与其他颗粒一起混合, 采用多重网格法进行邻居搜索. 实验结果表明, 该方法减小了邻居搜索网格尺寸和邻居元颗粒的数量, 从而缩短了接触计算时间, 提高了计算效率.

Abstract: Aiming at the problem that the contact computation was complex due to the large mesh size when using single grid method for neighbor search, we proposed a new method based on multigrid. First, the method virtual discretized particle with large ratio of length to diameter (such as long straw particles) into small ones, then the discrete particles were mixed with other particles, and the multigrid method was used to search neighbor. The experimental results show that the method reduces the size of neighbor search grid and the number of neighbor element particles, thus shortens the contact calculation time and improves the calculation efficiency.
