A Lattice Boltzmann Equation on the Oblique Grid Mesh

Abstract: A lattice Boltzmann model of an oblique grid mesh is proposed in this paper. With Chapman-Enskog expansion and multiscale technique, the Euler equations on the oblique grid mesh is obtained by means of selecting the high order moments of equilibrium distribution function and the oblique tensors of the coefficients.
