Abstract: Bioinformatics assisted gene discovery comprises picking the gene ava ilable in SwissProt, searching the DNA fragments homologous to the gene from the human genomic sequence by means of BLAST program, and saving them into the Oracle Database. On the basis of the useful data from in the Oracl e Database computer-assistant novel gene cloning is realized by means of the algorithm that we provided and the searched DNA fragments.
