Theoretical Studies on Properties of Hysteresis Loop of Ferroelectric Thin Film

Abstract: A generalized Ginzburg-Landau-Devonashire (GLD) free energy is represented to study the behavior of ferroelectric thin film with a imperfect surface layer. The effect of the imperfect surface layer on the hystere sis loop makes the hysteresis loop deviate from central symmetry (on point E=0, P=0).
