Singular Nonlinear Boundary Value Problems for a Class of Third Order Differenti al Equations

Abstract: In this paper we utilize the fixed point theorem in con e to prove the existence of positive solutions to the singular nonlinear boundar y value problems for a class of third order differential equation: -(p1(x)(p2(x)y′)′)′=f(x,y), y(0)=y′(0)=y(1)=0.
