Electron paramagnetic resonance studies of magnetic transitionin La0.67Ca0.33MnO3 with CMR

Abstract: The colossal magnetoresistance manganite(CMR) La0.67Ca 0.33MnO3 was prepared by conventional solid state reaction meth od. The dynamic magnetic transition was investigated by EPR experiment near the Curie temperature Tc, and the results are in agreement with the magne tization experiments. The EPR investigation indicated that the compound was in t he paramagnetic phase above 272 K, whereas it was in the ferromagnetic state bel ow 260 K.
