Abstract: The present paper presents an uniformly valid asymptotic expansion for a class of singular perturbation boundary value problems via the renormalization group method. In contrast to the conventional methods, the renormalization group approach requires neither ad hoc assumpations about the structure of perturbation series nor the use of asymptotic matching, therefore this method is more useful than the conventional methods.
