Abstract: Hyperbranched poly(ether ether ketone)were prepared by polymerization of hydroquinone(A2)and 1,3,5-tris[4-(4-fluorobenzoyl)phenoxy]benzene(B3).The gelatin formation of hyperbranched poly(ether ether ketone)was effectively avoided.Hydroxyl-terminated (HPEEK-OH)and fluoro-terminated (HPEEK-F)hyperbranched poly(ether ether ketone)were prepared from the mixture of hydroquinone (A2)and 1,3,5-tris-[4-(4-fluorobenzoyl)phenoxy]benzene (B3)with different A2/B3mass ratios.The structure of B3 monomer was confirmed by mean of MS,1H NMR,IR.The glass transition temperatures of HPEEK-F and HPEEK-OH are 114℃ and 162℃ respectively.Thermal stability of HPEEK-F is higher than that of HPEEK-OH.
