Abstract: Based on the analysis about photon correlation spectroscopy, a high time resolution experimental method for the measurement of dynamic light scattering is proposed. The dynamic light scattering experimental system is composed of a photomultiplier tube, a virtual digital storeoscilloscope module and a personal computer. This experimental system is designed to work mainly on analog detection, in which the photomultiplier output is used directly as an analog signal. The test results of nanoparticles demonstrate that the time resolution of this experimental system is 12.5 ns.
