Abstract: In grids, the heterogeneous computing resources are distributed across the world. Hence, scheduling is one of the most important issues in the research of grid computing. WSRF is initiated by Globus Alliance for modeling and accessing stateful resources with Web services. This paper introduces CSF4, a metascheduler developed by us based on WSRF. CSF4 can coordinate local and remote heterogeneous resources via GRAM protocol. CSF4 is one of the first WSRF metaschedulers in the world and released as an execution component of Globus Toolkit 4.
