Calculation of Triple Differential Cross Section for Argon 2pOrbital in Coplanar Asymmetric Geometry

Abstract: We modified the distorted wave Born approximation method (DWBA) by introducing polarization interaction into the distorted potential of DWBA. The triple differential cross section (TDCS) of the argon 2porbital in a coplanar asymmetric geometry was calculated, Calculational results by means of the modified DWBA method show that polarization effects are very important for ionization of argon 2p shell.
