Abstract: An explicit formula of the structure topological inclined support change was presented via MoorePenrose inverse theory and the partition of the unit stiffness matrix. For the structure with an inclined support added, a static response formula was given. Its advantage is that it is not needed to resolve a set of linear equations reiteratively when the static response is computed; instead, the calculation of the static response can be completed by means of the structure topological change, which saves a mount of computing time.

Key words: topological change, MoorePenrose inverse, incline d support change, reanalysis of static structures
