Abstract: Two implemented versions for the same business process were analyzed and compared to each other, and the advantages and disadvantages in defining business processes with BPDLs were concluded. The result shows that although the efficiency of the activity flow developed by BPDLs is not better than that developed by a traditional method, BPDLs are more convenient to develop and modify the activity flow than traditional methods, and the efficiency of the BPDL process is improved as the BPDL execution engine gets more mature.
