Properties of Optical-grade Transparent Diamond Film

Abstract: Microwave plasma chemical vapor deposition (MWPCVD) technique, as an electrodeless discharge and clean method, was adopted to prepare optical-grade transparent diamond films on single-crystal silicon substrates. And in order to understand their optical properties in detail, Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectrophotometer and ultraviolet-visible (UV-vis) spectrophotometer were employed to analyze their optical transmittance in IR region and UV region, respectively.
