Abstract: Based on Mie scattering theory, the laser sacttering characteristic of microbubbles in water was studied. We presented the relationship between scattering intensity and scattering angle, that between polarisation rate and scattering angle as well as the relationship between forward scattering intensity and microbubbles radius. It was found that the forward scattering intensity linearly charged with microbubbles radius at definite incident light wavelength. This work can provide the theory model for the measurement of microbubbles.
