Scanning Affinity Ligand of Hearttype Fatty Acid Bound Proteinwith Phagedisplayed 12mer Peptide Library

Abstract: We obtained the specific sequence of affinity ligand of HFABP with phage-display 12mer peptide library. After three rounds of panning and sequences comparison, we obtained one ELISA positive sequence of WPN HHMLHKRWP. The target peptide was then synthesized by manual way. Treated by reverse phase HPLC (High Pressure Liquid Chromatography) and mass spectrometry, the target peptide coupled with pyrene was used as a fluorescent probe to detect HFABP in the samples of AMI patients. The experiment resultindicates that the samples of AMI patients are all positive. The result reflects that the target ligand peptide we got has shown a good effect on clinical application for AMI.
