Abstract:

The leaves of Astilboides tabularis (Hemsl.) Engler were extracted with 85% ethanol, the extract was separated by column chrom
atography on a silica gel column to obtain the chemical constituents, whose structures were elucidated by spectral analysis and chemical evidence. Six compounds were isolated and were identified as quercitrin(1),  kaempferol-3-O-α-L-rhamnoside(2), quercetin-3-O-β-D-galactoside(3), gallic acid([STHZ]4[ST]), bergenin(5) and quercetin(6).

Key words: Astilboides tabularis (Hemsl.) Engler, chemical constitute; isolation; structural identification
