Eliminating Degenerate State of Rb Atom by Yangian Algebra

Abstract:

Analysis of Zeeman effect in condensed vapor of 87Rb obtained the degenerate states of the Hamiltonian H=K·S+x(K+1/2)Sz with s=1 and x=±1. The new operator constructed of Yangian algebra (Ysl(2)), which can distinguish degenerate states,  is applied to multiple degenerate system to realize the transition between different quantum states so as to eliminate degenerate states.
