Exponential Attractors for Nonlinear Extensible Beam Equation

Abstract: We investigated the longtime dynamic behavior of the nonlinear extensible beam equations by enhanced flattening property. Under the weaker condition of the nonlinearity, we first verified the asymptotic compactness of  solution semigroup, and then used the enhanced flattening property, we obtained the existence of exponential attractors for the general nonlinear extensible beam equations with strong damping.
