Anti-aging Effect of Phyllanthus emblica L.on Caenorhabditis elegans

Abstract: Based on the model of organism Caenorhabditis elegans, we investigated mass concentration of Phyllanthus emblica L.extracts at 10,20,40 mg/mL on antioxidation of C.elegans. The experimental results show that 10 mg/mL P.emblica L. extract can significantly increase the spawning of C.elegans, and there are no obvious effect on exercise capacity of C.elegans. The P.emblica L.extracts have low toxicity in the mass concentration range of experments. 10 mg/mL P.emblica L.extract can significantly prolong the life of C.elegans, and have a good protective effect on antioxidant pressure. 10 mg/mL P.emblica L.extract can significantly improve the enzyme activity of C.elegans, so as to achieve protective effect of antioxidant.
