Abstract: The gold nanoparticles with diameter of 50—60 nm were prepared by the optimized Turkevich method. The  trace amounts of salbutamol molecules with  concentrations of 10-3—10-5 mol/L were detected by surface-enhanced Raman scattering spectra. The results show that the minimum  detection limit is 5×10-5 mol/L. In the range of 100—750 μmol/L, the Raman intensity and  concentration have a good  linear relationship, and  the correlation  coefficient R2=0.996 57, but  the Raman intensity and the concentration does not satisfy the linear relationship in a wider  concentration range.
The trace amounts of salbutamol molecules can be detected by surface-enhanced Raman scattering method based on gold nanoparticles in real time and rapidly.
