Abstract: By using the sandbox experiment, we simulated migration characteristics of heavy metals in the interactive system of soil groundwater under the condition of horizontal flow of groundwater. The experimental results show that average mass ratio of four heavy metals in different depths is Cr>Ni>Co>Cu, and the vertical migration capacity is Cr>Ni≈Co>Cu. The average mass concentration of four heavy metals in the different depths of groundwater is Cu>Cr>Ni>Co, and that in the same depth of groundwater is Cu>Ni>Cr>Co. The migration capacity of four heavy metals in the interaction system of soilgroundwater is Cr≈Cu>Ni>Co along the flow direction and vertical direction. The maximum release amount of the pollution source is leached for 6 h, and then the mass concentration of heavy metal in groundwater reaches a maximum.
