Abstract:

The influence of stretching temperature on the configuration of the microvoids in PAN precursor fibres was investigated by multi\|orientated one\|dimensional small angle X\|ray scattering. The results show that  though the relative content of microvoids (V/V0) is  increased in some degree at the relative temperature 2T0,  the oriented angle () of microvoids would be the  minimal, and the ratio of the length with the diameter of microvoids (L/2R) would be the maximal. These are benefit to increasing the mechanics performance of fibers. But when the heating temperature is too high, the changes of micropores will be on the contrary.
