HAN Yu-Zhu, GAO Wen-Jie
J4. 2009, 47 (05):  859-865.
Abstract ( 1184 )   PDF (435KB) ( 662 )

Local existence, global existence and nonexistence of c
lassical solutions for a degenerate and strongly coupled quasilinear parabolic s
ystem were studied. Regularization method and a prior estimate skills were used
to obtain the local existence of classical solutions. Moreover, sufficient condi
tions were given for the existence and nonexistence of global classical solution
s. The results show that the problem admits a global solution when the intrasp
ecific competitions are strong; whereas there exists no global solution when the
species are strongly mutualistic.

Lattice Boltzmann method was used for the numerical simulation of a flow past an elliptic cylinder. The drag of a flow around elliptic cylinders with various shapes was investigated. Firstly, the classical flow past a circular cylinder was simulated numerically. The drag coffecient of our simulation is consistent with those of other numerically results. Secondly, the flow past an elliptic cylinder with different shapes was computed by fixing the vertical semi axis length and varying the horizontal semi axis length. Abstract ( 1223 )   PDF (686KB) ( 502 )

This paper proposes an Anomaly Detection algorithm based on Improved Density Clustering(ADIDC). The improved algorithm adopts clustering features separately on individual characteristic arranges and weighting features by the correlativity between the features and the normal profile. It can solve the frequent problem of the high false positive rate on clustering in the application of anomaly detection. A series of experiments on well known KDD Cup 1999 dataset demonstrates that it has a lower false positive rate, especially ensuring high detection rate with respect to the traditional anomaly detection methods. The detection of the special attack which resembles the normal act is obviously improved. In addtion, the detection performace can be further optimized by feature selection via feature weights. The phase transition pressures are 1.1, 15.1 and 40.1 GPa. The calculated results of optical properties show the positions of excited peaks. 

Abstract ( 943 )   PDF (385KB) ( 418 )

The influence of stretching temperature on the configuration of the microvoids in PAN precursor fibres was investigated by multi\|orientated one\|dimensional small angle X\|ray scattering. The results show that  though the relative content of microvoids (V/V0) is  increased in some degree at the relative temperature 2T0,  the oriented angle () of microvoids would be the  minimal, and the ratio of the length with the diameter of microvoids (L/2R) would be the maximal. These are benefit to increasing the mechanics performance of fibers. But when the heating temperature is too high, the changes of micropores will be on the contrary.

Abstract ( 1734 )   PDF (465KB) ( 577 )

The mechanochemical reaction between C3N3Cl3 and Li3N with acetone as the additive medium was carried out via high\|energy ball milling. Carbon nitride was obtained by baking the acquisition in a tube furnace in vacuo. XRD reveals the transformation of crystalline structure and it also shows that the product was transformed to graphitic carbon nitride after being milled for 80 hours at 200 r/min and baked at 573 K for 2 h. FTIR spectrum implies the existence of C—N and C=N bonds. XPS analysis also reveals the existence of sp2 CN bonds in the final product. TEM investigation shows that the product mainly consisted of particles with their diameters ranging from 200 to 300 nm.

Abstract ( 808 )   PDF (439KB) ( 262 )

Monolithic mesoporous silica was prepared by a sol\|gel method from which the Cd1-xZnxS/SiO2 assembly systems with different doping concentrations of Zn ions were obtained by thermal reaction after immersing and drying. The measurements of optical absorption  indicate  that the optical absorption edge  shifts to a short wavelength with increasing the concentration of Zn ion. It is suggested that the energy gap of CdS is enlarged with the Cd ion substituted by the Zn ion. The photoluminescence (PL) emission band is broadened, which is attributed to the effect of quantum size. The PL intensity is increased with the increasing of doped Zn ions, which should be ascribed to the decreasing of   α\|phase and benefits to the emission. 

Abstract ( 907 )   PDF (598KB) ( 363 )

The BSAPLG microspheres were prepared by S/W/O/W emulsion solvent evaporation method with biodegradable material PLG607 as the carrier. Drug encapsulation capacity, morphology, particle size characteristics, as well as invitro release profiles of the microspheres were discussed. The results show that the microspheres were spherical and smooth and the mean size of the microspheres was 40~70 μm, with a mono dispersibility. The invitro release profiles of the microspheres produced from different methods were significantly distinct. With the additives of hydroxypropylβcyclodextrin (HPB) and hydroxyapatite (HAP), the encapsulation of microspheres increased from 27.9% to 46.3%. Therefore, using S/W/O/W method and adding additives HAP and HPB in the formulation could decrease the initial burst release of drugs from the microspheres and increase the encapsulation capacity of the BSAPLG microspheres, the invitro release profiles of which were fitted into near zero order release kinetics.

Abstract ( 878 )   PDF (561KB) ( 361 )

The feasibility of 4 iron oxides including goethite, hematite, ferrihydrite and lean hematite to immobilize heavy metals in the polluted sediments was analyzed by investigating the adsorption capacities of the iron oxides, the change of adsorption characteristics of the sediments after the introduction of the iron oxides into the sediments. The results indicate that the in

Effects of Tubificid Bioturbation on Speciation of Cadmium inContaminated Sediment by Laboratorial Microcosm Experiment
LV Ji-Chao, HUA Xiu-Yi, DONG De-Meng, JIAO Qian-Qian, LIANG Da-Feng
J4. 2009, 47 (05):  1097-1102.
Abstract ( 1257 )   PDF (858KB) ( 323 )

Bioturbation is one of the most important factors which influence the fate of heavy metals at the natural water/sediment interface. Laboratorial microcosm experiment was carried out to simulate the bioturbation induced by tubificids in Cd contaminated lacustrine sediment. Tessier sequential extraction was used to analyze the speciation of Cd in different sediment layers. Bioturbation effects on the vertical profiles of oxidationreduction potential (ORP) in sediment and the pH of overlying water were studied in order to analyzethe speciation of cadmium in contaminated sediment disturbed by tubificids. The results show that the mircoenvironment of sediment (including pH, redox conditions etc.) was changed by tubificid bioturbation, as a result, the main speciation of Cd was transformed. Bioturbation increased the internal pore diffusion rate from sediment to solution and the vertical diffusion of Cd in sediment and caused Cd to transform from the fraction of Cd bound to Fe and Mn oxides to
exchangeable species. Meanwhile, the fractions of Cd bound to carbonate and exchangeable species were increased by bioturbation, which influenced the flux of Cd exchanging at the water/sediment interface. There were low fractions of Cd bound to organic/sulfide and residual in sediment, and the effect of tubificid bioturbation on these two fractions was slight.
