Abstract:
A novel wavelet watermark algorithm based on erbium\|doped fiber laser with an optical delay feedback (ODF-EDFL) system to encrypt watermark image for color image was proposed. The erbium\|doped fiber laser (EDFL) was chaos with coefficients varying in a very wide range when the optical time\|delayed system was added on it. The chaotic sequences generated by an ODF\|EDFL system were improved to encrypt the binary watermark image. Then the modulated watermark was embedded in the high region of the low frequency band of the green component which had been DWT of the original image. Experimental results show that the proposed method can realize the watermark embedding and extracting on color image and is robust against the attacks of general image processing methods such as JPEG compression, noise, and filtering.
