Implicit Fitting of Point Cloud Data viaRadial Basis Functions

A new technique is described for fitting scattered point cloud data. The fitting surface is determined as zero level isosurface of a tri
variate mode which is an implicit least squares fit of the data based upon radial basis functions. According to our numerical experiments, the new method is essentially faster than interpolating surface method based upon radial basis functions, and much simpler to implement.

We discussed some numerical schemes for stochastic differential equations, and applied predictorcorrector method to solving implicit scheme for nonlinear stochastic differential equations. We also carried out the numerical experiments and analyzed and compared the average global error of each numerical method. The numerical experiments illustrate that the calculating accuracies by means of explicit scheme and halfimplicit scheme are higher than that of implicit scheme.

On the basis of using Copula function to insurance premium principles and risk measure theory with considering dependence of portfolio investment  risks based on modified certainty equivalent risk measure, a Copula based, particularly when detailed mixed distributions are given in individual risks, modified premium principles and certainty equivalent risk measure approach was proposed. Properties of the proposed approach were proved, and the effection was demonstrated by simulated data.

The calculation of optimal boundary control for a class of timevarying population system with agedependence was studied by penalty shifting method. Using the solutions {(pm,um)} of the unconstraint minimization question to approach the solution (p(u),u) of the restraint, p and u as independent variable, the authors obtained the approximation sequence and found the approximate solution um of optimal boundary control u for the system and proved the convergence of the sequence.

 we derived the sufficient and necessary conditions for local Δ-analytic continuation in some cases. We also researched the Δ-analyticity for monomial pn(z)=zn and obtained the results for n=3 and n=4 in some cases.

The authors used quasifeasible interior point method to solve general smooth constraint optimization problems. We improved the merit function  in  quasifeasible interior-point method and used the exponential function that is the more general function to prove the existence of one order optimality point in feasible problem. We discussed the inner and outer algorithms and made the convergence theorem. The example shows that the exponential change has tremendous influences on iterative number, Lagrange multiplier value and initial value. An appropriate value selected can make the algorithm have a good convergence property.

With space Cg as phase space, the existence and uniqueness of the solutions for stochastic functional differential equations with infinite delay were considered. By means of Picard iterative sequence, Ito formula and Doob martingale inequality, it has been proved that stochastic functional differential equation with infinite delay has a unique solution at the interval [t0,∞), further, the estimate of the error between the approximate solution and the accurate solution has been obtained, where t0 is a positive number.

A Numerical Method for |Inverse Source Problem ofPoisson Equation in 2D Disc Domains

This paper deals with an inverse source problem of the Poisson equation in a disc domain. Based on the complex expression of the solution to the boundary problem, an algebraic relation between the parameters of the point sources and the boundary conditions was deduced by means of the Cauchy integral formula. Then an algebraic numerical algorithm was proposed to reconstruct the dipoles or monopoles. Since the algorithm does not need solving the forward problem or any iterative procedure,  it is direct and reduces the calculation amount. For the purpose of verifying the validity of the algorithm, numerical examples were provided.

The authors  used quasilikelihood method to estimate the parameter of integervalued AR(p) process with signed binomial thinning to obtain the modifiedquasilikelihood estimator of the model parameters, and the asymptotic distribution of this estimator, thus, we can have some statistical analysis results about the model parameter, such as hypothesis testing. And  we compared the modifiedquasilikelihood estimator with the conditional least squares estimator via simulation. The results show that under some conditions,  the modifiedquasilikelihood estimator is better than conditional least squares estimator.

The periodic solutions for second order differential equations were investigated by means of  the Schauder’s fixed point theorem. The existence and uniqueness of periodic solutions are established when the function f(t,x,x′) is continuously differentiable. Furthermore, under the condition that the right\|handfunction is only continuous, we have established the sufficient conditions for  the existence of periodic solutions.

A new method for dorsal hand vein recognition based on FRAT was proposed. We firstly partitioned these hand vein images into blocks on the basis of  their “line” features; then did FRAT on the block images, and put up a new method to get the maximum by means of the  nonequilibrium distribution of vector in order to get the texture features; finally,  obtained classification results through feature matching. Compared with discrete Radon transform and traditional Hough transform, our method improves the detection speed of straight line features. At the same time, our method was applied to the test of  800 samples, showing a recognition rate of  96.5%. It has demonstrated that this algorithm is effective.

A support vector regression optimized by genetic algorithm model was developed for grid host load prediction. Genetic algorithm and cross validation technology were applied to solve parameter optimization of support vector regression. Simulation experiments were performed on benchmark data set. Experimental results indicate that the proposed model exhibits better performance than support vector regression model with parameters selected by trialanderror method and the backpropagation neural network.

After the Web service matching method which aims only at the single Web service and the dynamic composition method which aims at multiple Web services have been analyzed, a formal description of semantic Web service is proposed, based upon which a semantic Web service registry structure oriented for the composed Web service and the corresponding data maintenance algorithm have been implemented. In the meantime, a Web service model and discovery algorithm oriented for the composed Web service are proposed, which can be used to semantically match single Web service, and also to search in those composed Web services to find a composite Web service or composition Web service fragment which satisfy the search requests so that the composed Web service can be reused and the efficiency of the discovery can be improved.

A framework in which information about images’s form and information about images’s content are addressed in a principled way is proposed so as to solve the image retrieval problems of uncertain background knowledge. The framework can deal with the semantic information with various levels of confidence. A two level model consistent of form and content is proposed to represent images, an uncertainty description logic called UALC is proposed to deal with the semantic information with uncertainty, the task of images retrieval is thus reduced to logical reasoning in UALC, a reasoning algorithm of UALC is given finally.

The text clustering method based on ontology applies WordNet and key concept set during text reprensentation, and the concept nodes and the semantic relations between the concepts in the ontology WordNet are used to reduce the number of features so as to improve clustering effect. And during text clustering, the algorithm uses the key concept set and the concept feature vector to calculate the similarity and uses key concept set to provide an explanation for every cluster of the result. The experimental results show that the method can effectively reduce the dimension number of the text feature vector and im
prove the text clustering effect compared with other text clustering algorithm and the novel method for text clustering can come up with a good explanation for the clusters.

We constructed gene regulatory networks adopting recurrent neural network model. We proposed a twostep procedure for genetic regulatory network inference. At first we used simulated annealing algorithm to search network structure space and found meaningful weights that indicate the regulatory relations. Secondly we adopted improved particle swarm optimization algorithm based on immune principle to determine the network parameters. Our approach has been applied to both artificial data set and data set of Desoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) Repair System of Escherichia coli. The results demonstrate that the method can provide a meaningful insight into potential regulatory interactions between genes, which is revealed by the nonlinear dynamics of the gene expression time series. Thereby we have provided a new approach to solve the biological problem of constructing gene regulatory networks.

Properties Contrast of ITO Films by Ag Doping and Annealing

ITO and Ag-ITO thin films with a  thickness  of 130 nm were respectively deposited on glass substrates at room temperature, and post annealed in atmosphere for 1 h. The microstructure and transmittance spectra of all the samples were measured by X\|ray diffraction (XRD) and ultraviolet\|visible spectrophotometry, respectively. The lattice constants in the normal direction of the crystal faces (211) and (222) of all the films were calculated. The lattice constants were decreased with the increase of annealing temperature and the  lattice was further distortion   found after Ag doping in ITO matrix. The ITO and Ag-ITO films have almost the same transmittance in the visible range at high annealing temperatures. But the transmittances of the two kinds of films were quite different at lower annealing temperatures. The influences of annealing and Ag doping on lattice constant, crystallinity and transmittance of ITO films were also discussed.

La0.6Sr0.4Co0.2Fe0.8O3-δ (LSCF) and La0.8Sr0.2MnO3-δ (LSM) cathode materials were prepared by co\|precipitation method in the OH- solution. The properties of LSCF and LSM powders were characterized by XRD, BET and FESEM. The results show  that  LSCF and LSM precursors can be transformed to the pure orthorhombic perovskite structure having been  calcined at 900 ℃ and 1 200 ℃ for 5 h, respectively, and  LSCF cathode has a smaller particle  size and a bigger specific surface area compared with  LSM cathode. The investigation of electrochemical properties show that LSCF cathode has lower over\|potential compared with  LSM cathode, which reveals that the electrode activity of  LSCF cathode is better than that of  LSM cathode. The V-I characteristics of single cell show  that the cell with LSCF cathode has a better performance than LSM cathode.

Magnetic Properties of Cr/Gd Bilayers

The Cr/Gd bilayer was deposited by magnetron sputtering method, where the Curie temperature TC of the ferromagnetic Gd layer was less than the Néel temperature TN of the antiferromagnetic Cr layer. The temperature dependence of the magnetic properties of the film was characterized by means of vibrating\|sample magnetometer (VSM). It was shown that the Cr/Gd bilayer exhibited quite different behaviors from those of the FM/AFM bilayers with TC>TN. We have observed that the Gd layer persisted in the ferromagnetic phase even at T>TC. The coercivity HC of the film does not vary monotonously with temperature. HC decreases with  temperature increase in a temperature range of 80~205 K, exhibiting a minimum value at T=205 K, and then goes up until reaching a peak at T=255 K, at 255 K<T<295 K, the coercivity decreases sharply with  temperature, when T>295 K, however, HC increases with  temperature increase. The experimental results indicate that the magnetic ordered temperature and coercivity of the ferromagnetic layer are strongly influenced by the interfacial exchange coupling between the Gd and Cr layers.

A novel wavelet watermark algorithm based on erbium\|doped fiber laser with an optical delay feedback (ODF-EDFL) system to encrypt  watermark image for color image was proposed. The erbium\|doped fiber laser (EDFL) was chaos with coefficients varying in a very wide range when  the optical time\|delayed system was added on it. The chaotic sequences generated by an ODF\|EDFL system were improved to encrypt the binary watermark image. Then  the modulated watermark was embedded in the high region of the  low frequency band of  the green component which had been DWT of the original image. Experimental results show that the proposed method can realize the watermark embedding and extracting on color image and is robust against the attacks of general image processing methods such as JPEG compression, noise, and filtering.

The H+Exchange and Exfoliation Reactions of K0.81Li0.27Ti1.73O4

K0.81Li0.27Ti1.73O4 was synthesized by a solid state reaction. The conditions such as materials ratios, reaction time and reaction temperature, which are the main influencing factors of the H+ ionic exchange reaction and exfoliation of  K0.81Li0.27Ti1.73O4 were studied. The results show that K0.81Li0.27Ti1.73O4 can be transformed into H1.08Ti1.73O4·H2O in a 0.1~14 mol/L HNO3 solution by ionic exchange. If the reaction temperature is higher, the product is  transformed into TiO2. The optimum H+exchange conditions are: the concentration of HNO3 is 1~10 mol/L, n(HNO3) ∶〖KG-*3〗n(KLiTiO)=10~20, at room temperature for 4~7 d. H1.08Ti1.73O4·H2O can be exfoliated by both npropylamine (n\|PA) and nbutylamine. The exfoliation of H1.08Ti1.73O4·H2O  is sensibly influenced by the reaction temperature and the ratio of H1.08Ti1.73O4·H2O  and amine, i.e., at a higher temperature and/or a smaller ratio of amine and H1.08Ti1.73O4·H2O , the product is TiO2 rather than a layered compound. The optimum exfoliation (or intercalation) conditions are: n(nPA) ∶ n(HTiO)=20~100, at 120 ℃ for 1 d.

Seven compounds were separated and identified as deoxyshikonin (1), β,β-dimethylacryloylshikonin (2), acetyshikonin (3),  shikonin (4), β-sitosterol (5), propionylshikonin (6), acetoxyisovalerylalkannin (7).

The PlackettBurman design was used to evaluate the effects of eight variables which could affect the nisin production. On the basis of analyzing the statistical regression, yeast extract, glucose and K2HPO4 were found to be the most important factors. Subsequently, response surface methodology was employed to determine the maximum nisin production at the optimum con
centration of key factors. The nisin production was found to correlate to the three parameters. The optimal values of the three parameters were determined as 2235 g/L yeast extract, 2480 g/L glucose and 1365 g/L K2HPO4. The nisin production was 2 157 IU/mL, and the actual experimental result was 2 115 IU/mL, which shows the results are reasonable.

The antioxidant effect of 6A,6A′-cyclohexylamine-6B,6B′-seleniumbridged-β-cyclodextrin (6-CySeCD), a new mimic of glutathione peroxidase (GPX), was confirmed with a model system in which mouse fibroblast cell NIH3T3 were damaged by H2O2. The cell damage was characterized in terms of the lipid peroxidation of the cells, cell viability, DNA lysis rate. The injury effects of H2O2 and protection effects of 6-CySeCD on the cells were studied via the model system. The results show the 6CySeCD could be able to protect cells from the damage induced by H2O2.

Defatted zein was hydrolyzed by proteolysis with protease. The hydrolysate was refined and freezedried into powder. The resulting hydrolysate was further purified by means of gel filtration, ion exchange chromatography and HPLC. With α-tocopherol as the positive control, the antioxidant abilities of corn peptide and its separated fractions were examined for their effects of scavenging 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical, dosedependent manner was included. The data reveal that corn peptide and its separated fractions exhibited a potent effect of scavenging DPPH. The most active fraction from the active peptide was fraction 2 separated by CM cation exchange chromatography. Its scavenging effect is positively related to its concentration and the reaction time. The molecularmass distributions of the fraction 2 are mostly in a range from 400~700.

Extraction of the endocrine disrupting compounds (EDCs, such as estriol, bisphenol A, 17α-ethynylestradiol, estradiol and estrone) in water was investigated based on dispersive liquidliquid microextraction procedure with ionic liquid ([C6MIM]PF6) as extraction solvent and methanol as dispersive solvent. The distribution coefficients of EDCs between ionic liquid and aqueous phase were compared with those of EDCs between conventional organic solvent and aqueous phase, and the equilibrium molar fractions of EDCs in the system of [C6MIM]PF6water were correlated with the help of the wellknown NRTL equation, and finally, the mechanism of extraction reaction between[C6MIM]PF6 and EDCs was discussed as well. The experimental results show that the highest distribution coefficients of EDCs between [C6MIM]PF6 and aqueous phase were DEE2, followed by DBPA,DE1,DE2 and DE3 in the studied concentration range, and the distribution coefficients of EDCs in the system of [C6MIM]PF6/water was much higher than that in the system of conventional organic solvent/water, and the molecular interactions among EDCsextraction solventwater were validated by NRTL equation.
