Abstract:

Active constituents in Chenopodium album L.were studied by means of various chromatographic techniques, and four known flavonoids
were isolated from Chenopodium album L. Their structures were elucidated as quercetin 3-O-rutinoside(1), apigenin -6,8-di-C-β-D-glucopyranoside(2), quercetin -3-O-［α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-（1→4）-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl（1→6）-β-D-glucopyranoside］(3), and isorhamnetin 3-O-［α-L-rhamnopyranosyl（1→4）-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl（1→6）-β-D-glucopyranoside］(4). Compound 2,3 and 4 were isolated from Chenopodium for the first time.
