A Finite Difference Parallel Method for Parabolic Equations

The improved JGS iterative method was used to solve parabolic equations, and a new parallel method was constructed. We prove that this method is absolutely stable and explicit, and its truncation error reaches O(τ+h2). The  numerical experimentation agrees with the theory analysis.

A preypredator model with constant investment rate and dense restriction for prey and constant harvesting rate for predator under Holling-Ⅳ functional response was studied. The existence of the positive equilibrium point was discussed by using isoclines shape, and the condition for the existence and the stability of the equilibrium point were analysed. Finally, the nonexistence of the closed orbit was proven by Dulac function.

Utilizing conditional Lie-Bcklund symmetry associated with invariable subspace theory, we studied three types of generalized functional separation variable solutions for (2+1)dimensional quasilinear parabolic equation, that is, generalized functional polynomial type solution, generalized functional trigonometric function type solution and generalized functional exponent type solution. As a result, a complete classification of the quasilinear equation was obtained. At the same time, we obtained the dynamic system  satisfied  by the unknown function among the exact solution.

After determining an appropriate Lagrange multiplier, the approximate solutions can be readily obtained. Futhermore, some illustrative examples were given to show the efficiency of the method. The authors studied the relations between the curvature and geometric feature of quasitotally real minimal submanifold in a complex p
rojective space CP(n+p)/2. With the help of movingframe method and Bochner skills, some rigidity theorems on sectional curvature and Ricci curvature were obtained. The authors have proved that if the sectional curvature of Mn is not less than (n+3)/[2(n+1)] or Ricci curvature is not less than n+1-3p/n+12p/n2(n≥4) or 3n/4+2(n≤4), then p=n, M=RPn.

A new holefilling algorithm based on contour was proposed. First of all, the circumscribed contour to the target area is found and ma
rked, then a point in the area is selected as the seed to perform the regiongrowing operation inside the contour until all the points are found. At last, the algorithm eliminates all the marks, and sets the target area foreground color. Experimental results show that the algorithm is adaptable to any kind of hole filling algorithm and efficient. And the speed of the algorithm will be accelerated when the area of the target reduces. When the algorithm is applied in the motion detection system, more complete information of the moving target will be acquired.

There are many factors to affect the accuracy of load forecasting. The problem is how to choose the factors. To solve the problem, an attribute reduction algorithm of concept lattice was introduced. We chose a property parameter that has good relativity to forecasting load as the input  parameter of the forecasting model of neural network. It reduces the scope of the input parameters, ensures the rationality of input parameters of the forecasting model, and solves the problem how to determine the input parameters of the neural network model. The actual data of the maximum load in some place of Chongqing City was calculated. The results show the prediction accuracy of neural network model is improved with such a method, and reduction algorithm is reasonable and effective.

Considering the structure of diffusion network, we proposed a new approach to maximizing the spread of influence based on community structure (AMICS). Our approach employs the community algorithm such as Radicchi’s algorithm/ICS algorithm to detect the community structure hidden in the network firstly, then iteratively chooses k important nodes which span the maximum communities to maximize the influence’s community coverage. The experiments on the small network and medium network show that AMICS is feasible and effective.

An improved tabu search algorithm was utilized to solve vehicle routing problem with time windows and built a general mathematical model corresponding to this problem. In the process of solving, initial solutions were selected from many random structured practical solutions, and 2opt method was adopted to produce neighborhood and structured dynamic structure tabu list so that the size and structure of tabu list could be changed in the searching process, the overall ability in search excellence was improved. Simulation experiments indicate the feasibility, validity and superiority of the algorithm.

The authors designed an asymmetric double quantum well structure with three subbands in the conduction band, and then calculated  energy values of the three subbands with the effective\|mass Schrodinger equation of confined electrons. In particular, the two adjacent excited subbands were correlated to  wave function due to the electronic tunneling effect. A weak probe field coupling the ground subband to the two excited subbands was found to have a double-peak absorption spectrum with an in-between transparency window. Applying a DC electric field on this double quantum well structure, one may easily change the ratio of dipole moments on the two probe transitions, and then effectively manipulate relative amplitudes of the two absorption peaks and the dispersion curve in the transparency window.

 An investigation on energy band structures, density of states, elastic coefficients and Debye temperature  of Se and Te at ambient pressure was conducted via  first-principles calculations based on density functional theory (DFT). The results show that Se is an indirect band gap semiconductor and Te is a direct band gap one. The valence bands and conduction bands are mainly  the contributions of the outermost p electrons. Moreover, the  calculated results of elastic coefficients indicate that the hexagonal structures of Se and Te are mechanically stable at ambient pressure, and their Debye temperatures are 263 K and 315 K, respectively.

Fe-Co-N films were deposited on an unheated Si (111) substrate by means of  developed facing\|target magnetron sputtering with N2/Ar  as sputtering gas.  The effect of various   Co target power on the structure, morphology and magnetic properties of FeCoN films were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID), respectively. The results show that when  the input power on Fe target was 160   W and Co target power was 2.4 W, the thin films with ε-(Fe,Co)3N were synthesized; when Co target power was 58 W, paramagnetic Co3N phase appeared with ferromagnetic phase Fe3N,  saturation magnetization (Ms) of thin film is 151.47 A·m2/kg, coercivity (Hc) is 3.68 kA/m. When Co target power was  11.9 W (I=0.07 A),  
α″-Fe,Co)16N2 phase was obtained with a high Ms of 265.08 A·m2/kg and Hc of 8.24 kA/m.

The authors adopted an accurate in situ resistivity measurement method to measure the change of resistivity  of  graphite with the pressure for cold-compressed graphite in the pressure range of 0—34 GPa via a microcircuit  prepared by heavily boron\|doped diamond film. The results show that the phase transition of the cold-compressed graphite took place at  15.1 GPa and 17.9 GPa in  the first and second pressure cycles, respectively. The phase  can remain at pressure down to 8 GPa.

A homemade electrothermal vaporizationassisted pulsed corona discharge atmospheric pressure ionization source was developed for cou
pling with a timeofflight mass spectrometer for online detection of heavy metals in water samples. Experimental results show that vanadium, chromium, manganese, arsenic, including arsenic, chromium, which are great harmful to the environment, could be detected. The source has a simple structure, convenient operation, low energy consumption, and is easy to use, with a high sensitivity. The limit of detection can get to 
10-13—10-12 g, and the method can be used online.

The adsorption behavior of lysozyme (LYZ) on SBA-15 mesoporous silica with different pore diameters and specific surface areas was inv
estigated.  Adsorption capacities of LYZ were controlled by the specific surface area, and the relationship between the adsorption and the special surface area is q=0.602 53SBET-130.58. Adsorption kinetic processes were analyzed with three kinds of adsorption reaction models. It wasshown that adsorption kinetics followed the pseudo second order model very well. Adsorption mechanism was analyzed with intraparticle diffusion and simplified external mass transfer diffusion model.  The adsorption rates were dependent upon the pore diameter of mesoporous materials. In certain ranges of pore diameters, the overall adsorption rate and initial adsorption rate of external diffusion increased quickly while intraparticle diffusion rate increased slowly. It was also suggested that SBA15 did not affect the lysozyme structure evidenced by FTIR analysis.

The authors observed the microstructure of wild grass leaf by scanning electron microscopy and found there were different periodic ratchetstructure arrangements and the ratchetstructure could be oriented in a certain direction. We studied the onedimensional contrast friction between the water drop and surface interface of leaf via the drop moved along the contrasting directions. This investigation indicates onedimensional contrast friction can be generated due to the different threephase contact line resulted from the oriented ratchetstructure at the moment of drop moving along the contrasting directions. It demonstrates thereby the important relationship between microstructure and friction.

were isolated from Chenopodium album L. Their structures were elucidated as quercetin 3-O-rutinoside(1), apigenin -6,8-di-C-β-D-glucopyranoside(2), quercetin -3-O-[α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→4)-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl(1→6)-β-D-glucopyranoside](3), and isorhamnetin 3-O-[α-L-rhamnopyranosyl(1→4)-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl(1→6)-β-D-glucopyranoside](4). Compound 2,3 and 4 were isolated from Chenopodium for the first time.

The samples from  the South Lake at a low temperature were taken and diluted onto coated tablet for concentration inoculation. A total of 35 coldadaptedstrains were isolated, which contained 14 bacteria and 21 fungi. The colony morphology and physiological and biochemical results show that the psychrotrophic bacteria belong to Lactobacilus, Saccharococcus, Staphyloccus, Actinomyces and the fungi belong to molds and yeast. Some of them can produce hydrolases including oxidase, catalase, amylase and gelatinase, and some of psychrotrophs can make nitrate reduction, nitrite reduction and so on.
