Chemical Constituents of Euphorbia pekinensis Rupr

Abstract:

Euphorbia pekinensis Rupr was isolated and purified by means of column chromatography on silica gel, ODS etc. Seven compounds were isolated and identified as 3,3′-di-O-methyl ellagic acid-4′-O-β-D-xylopyranoside (1), 3,3′-di-O-methylellagic acid-4′-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(2), 3,3′-di-O-methyl-ellagic-acid (3), octacosyl ferulate (4), euphol(5),β-sitosterol (6) and daucosterol (7). All the compounds were identified by physicochemical and spectral data, and they were all isolated from Euphorbia pekinensis Rupr for the first time except β-sitosterol.
