Abstract: We prepared reduced graphene oxide/thionin composite materials, and modified them onto the surface of the glassy carbon electrodes. There were two active sites in bovine serum albumin molecule, and the characteristics of the chiral enantiomers were different from their active points. We immersed the modified electrode in bovine serum albumin, and used for the selective recognition of tryptophan (Trp) enantiomers (D/L-Trp). The preparation and reactive process of the electrode were characterized by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The results show that under the same experimental conditions, the chiral surface shows different electrochemical signals for D/L-Trp, the reaction between the chiral surface and D/L-Trp has stereoselectivity, and is more effective with L-Trp.
