Abstract: TheLa0.8Sr0.2Ga0.8-xMg0.2CoxO3-δ electrolytes for solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) with different concentrations of Co were prepared by glycinenitrate combustion method, and the crystal structure, morphology and electrical properties were characterized. The results show that, with the increase of Co doping, there is no obvious heterophase peak in the sample, the spectral peaks shift slightly to the side of small angle, the cell volume increases slightly, and the average partical size decre
ases gradually. Co doping has a siginificant effect on the conductivity, and the grain conductivity is the key factor to increase the total conductivity of the sample.
