Abstract: The interaction between indomethacin and human serum albumin (HSA) was studied by means of the fluorescence quenching method. The binding constants were obtained at different temperatures. The effects of metal ions on the binding constants were discussed. According to the thermodynamic parameters, the main acting force between indomethacin and HSA was determined.

Key words: indomethacin, human serum albumin, fluorescence spectra method 
