Abstract:
DNA was attached onto Si substrate by selfassembly. The AFM images show that the structures of DNA on Si substrate de pended on the concentration of DNA solution: at a low concentration of DNA, the single, stretched, cricular DNA molecules were absorbed on Si substrate; at 60~160 ng/μL DNA, the DNA network structures were formed; at a concentration of DNA higher than 200 ng/μL, DNA film could just form. These results suggest that it is possible to develop a DNA molecule device by this method.
Key words: DNA molecule, Si substrate, selfassembly, molecule derice, atomic force microscope
