Instructions for Authors

“Journal of Jilin University (Science Edition) (ISSN 1671-5489；CN 22-1340/O；Original Name: Acta Scientiarum Naturalium Universitatis Jilinensis” is a comprehensive academic journal in the fields of science sponsored by Jilin University and administrated by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. The journal is the rank of Double Hundred Journals of the Chinese Scientific and Technological Journal, outstanding S.&T. journal ofChina,  Chinese comprehensive core scientific and technological journal and the best journal ofJilinProvince. The articles published in the journal are all accepted for coverage in many well-known scientific and technological literature databases and abstract journals such as “MR”, “CA” and  “CSA: MI” in USA, “Zbl Math” in Germany, “РЖ” in Russia, “SA” in England, “China National Knowledge Internet”, “Wanfang Database”, “Chinese Science Paper Online”, “Longyuan Journal Net” and so on. If the author has no special statement, the article will be linked to the Internet and cited abstract journals.

1. Scope of article

The journal mainly covers the latest scientific research results achieved in basic theoretical research, applied and developed researches, the contents of which are contained in the columns of theses, reviews, research notes and letters in the fields of mathematics, physics, chemistry, life science, computer science, electricity and electronics, environment science and so on (Note: if the first author’s unit is not Jilin University, we only received article supported by the provincial and ministerial fund). Welcome to the scientific research worker eagerly contribute.

2. Requirements of article

(1) Chinese manuscript attached to the details of the English abstract, the title should be concise and clear, normative terminology, legal measurement units, foreign language alphabet standardized form and italics, and layout of a page without columns.

One paper don’t submit to several journals, the submissions must be not officially published, if you don’t receive notification of acceptance within half a year, you can handle the paper by yourself.

(2) We receive and deal with the paper through the editorial system software on the Internet, please enter our website (http://xuebao.jlu.edu.cn/lxb) when you submit the paper, click on “online submissions”, input the relevant information in accordance with the online p_r_o_m_p_t procedure, please submit a copy of the paper to our E-mail address: sejuj@mail.jlu.edu.cn, and indicate the contact telephone number in order to contact with you in time.

    (3) Author’s unit must write department level, and indicate the postal code. The first author and the corresponding author should indicate the year of birth, sex, nation, degree, professional ranks and titles, research direction, E-mail address and contact phone number, etc.

    (4) The paper should clarify the background and significance of the research, arguments are clear, writing is concise and the data is reliable, please use legal measurement units. Illustrations use black and white figure, the data points in the graph size are appropriate, and lines are uniform; photo and images are clear.

    (5) The Chinese and English abstract, key words and Chinese library classification should be complete. The Chinese and English abstract should be consistent, and try to write detailed. Keywords are 3~8.

    (6) Reference should choose a major literature which has been published in the official publication, and reference is no less than 8, in accordance with the order of the reference sequence in the article. References used in both Chinese and English e_x_p_r+e_s_s_i_o_ns, and its corresponding Chinese content in the brackets.

(7) The letter that represents a variable uses italics, and matrices, vectors and vector letters in bold italic.

(8) We charge review fees when you submit the paper, and we charge publication fees if the article is accepted.

3. Format of references

Journal: [order number] Author’s name (write three authors, etc (last name in front, first name on the back)). Article title [J]. Journal name, year of publication, volume number(number): starting and ending page numbers

Monograph：[order number] Author’s name (write three authors, etc (last name in front, first name on the back)). Monograph title [M]. Version (first edition is not marked). Place of publication: publisher, year of publication: starting and ending page numbers.

Symposium: [order number] Author’s name (write three authors, etc (last name in front, first name on the back)). Article title [C]//Name of essays. Place of publication: publisher, year of publication: starting and ending page numbers.

Degree thesis：[order number] Author’s name. Article title [D]. Location: preservation unit, year of publication.

Patent: [order number] Author’s name (write three authors, etc (last name in front, first name on the back)). Title: country, patent number [P]. Date of announcement or publication [Reference date].

Technical standard: [order number] Author’s name (write three authors, etc (last name in front, first name on the back)). standard code  standard sequence number-year of publication  standard title [S]. Place of publication: publisher, year of publication.

Electronic literature: [order number] Author’s name (write three authors, etc (last name in front, first name on the back)). Article title [Document type/ type of medium]. Place of publication: publisher, year of publication (Update or modify date) [Reference date] (Year-Month-Day). Access path.
