Abstract:

In order to achieve rapid portable detection of methane concentration, we have designed a detection system based on STM32RBT6 processor. The system contains a methane sensor, signal conditioning circuits consisting of operation amplifier, digital potentiometers, high-precision digital-to-analog converter, iron storage, USB（Universal Serial BUS） bus and LCD（Liquid Crystal Display）interface. The system hardware design and software implementation are described in delail. Data acquisition rate up to 12 Mbit/s is improved significantly, system draw methane concentration curve by software based on VC++6.0, user can use it conveniently. And show the experiment data by PC software tested in lab. The portable methane concentration detector based STM32 reaches the goal that can rapidly detect the concentration of methane gas in the environment, improves the performance of the detection system.
